My Weekend Cook (Family In Town)

I had my wife's family come into town over the weekend and they stayed with us, so what better time to show off the WSM's and some "Q" ;)
I did 2 racks of spares, 1 whole brisket, 2 brisket points & some ABT's.

On the left is the whole brisket and the 2 points on the right

While waiting for the meat, I did some jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese, shrimp & wrapped in bacon.

Here are the briskets about 4 hours in and ready for foil. Top grate has the 2 points and the lower grate has the full brisket.

After being wrapped in foil using agave, brown sugar, pineapple, tiger sauce, honey and maple syrup.

Bob, his cherry and also the Jallelujah Bacon Jalapeno Rub by big poppa smokers is awesome. I'll have to give his pecan rub a shot.

Thanks. Will have them drop in a container (or 2) of the JBJR ;)) in with the cherry & spiced apple on the next order. Speaking of which, Sterling's service is the best !!!! And packaging is way over the top (a great thing !)

I agree, their customer service is awesome. I'll also be placing another order with them soon, right before our comp in april.

Me too... I will bring modelos and say hello to everyone and they will just think I was invited by someone. LOL!!
Bbq looks great Carlos!! Do you get family that ask for some salsa to put on the bbq? I get that from time to time...

LOL make it some pacificos and we got a deal! Actually havent had that request yet unless Im doing some carne asada but for the most part we have salsa and chips sitting on the table to snack on.

Dont you hate when that happens?? LOL Im like a kid in a candy store when I'm ordering from his site. I keep adding to the basket and I try to justify my order to the wife by saying well I need to spend at least $40 to get free shipping ;)

Very true Tony! LOL My bro in law coaches my niece/nephew in soccer and that whole crowd is puro raza. They had an end of the season party at the park and was asked to BBQ for them. So im there doing a few racks of ribs and tri-tips when I look to the side and see one of the parents with a rib wrapped in a tortilla and adding tapatio to it. That was a first!
