My Set Up For Now

Picked up a couple of sheets of Diamond Plate Aluminum to
put down on deck to protect the Timber-Tech. So now I've moved
the charcoal burners from the garage/driveway to the backyard. If these
sheets don't work out, I'll try a couple of oil drip pans, but I liked
the look of these better.

I'm interested I knowing how the rest of you "composite" deck owners set up your grilling area.

Bill; that looks great and will work well. Nice job!

How often do you use the gasser? I like that and may get one at some point.

Bill, being a fireman I am kinda partial to that diamond plate stuff. It looks good and should work and last much better than oil drip pans!

Nice set up! Looks good!

I have been saving up for a summit for over half a year now... Purchase a Lowes Gift card about every payday and I get the 10-20 cents per gallon discount on fuel then .... Have about $700 so far .... Maybe by beginning if next summer ....

I like that look alot!
But pick them up when not in use and let the deck breath. Anything you place in direct contact on a wood or composite deck will trap moisture, which will add to premature aging/fading and can compromise any metal fasteners.

Nice look. I use the grill pads. I also installed the ash catch pan found on the kettle to keep any stray embers contained.

Up till now the gasser has been my go-to first choice.
Will have to see what happens now that kettle is more easily accessed.
