My Hand at Carne Asada Tacos

After seeing all these posts about Carne Asada tacos, I decide to try my hand at making this dish. I pretty much followed Tony's recipe and they turned out great. My wife said she likes tacos this way from now on, so it looks like I will be grilling more skirt steak in the future! I like the Carne Asada seasoning better than any taco seasoning I had before. The only thing I need to do next time is get the grill hotter to get a better sear on the steak. Thanks to all for sharing your cooks and inspiring me to venture into cooking new meals on the grill.

Here are some pictures of my cook (sorry for the blurry ones).

Steak is done. I forgot to take a picture of the sliced steak as I was to busy getting ready to eat!

I second that! Once we moved to Portland, Oregon, we discovered so many more Mercados here than what we were used to, and they have some of the best meat and seasonings! When I have time, though, I usually make my own carne asada seasoning, which allows me to control the sodium.

Those look awesome! Thanks for sharing!
