My first score of the new season

Like a lot of things I like to do more by hand than with machine.

Well, I do not have any Mother's aluminum polish at the moment so I did what I could with what I have on hand. I still think it came out pretty well. I can always go back later on it.

I almost forgot to show off the cool tank magnet that Josh was kind enough to send to me. Like the Weber tank cover, I think it adds a nice touch.

I lost track of how long it took, it was a good while. Yes, my hands and wrists are a little achy at the moment.

Just read this entire thread...what a score! I have a 2001 Gold B NG that I bought new. She definitely needs some attention this summer. I have bookmarked this. Not sure if I will need to paint, but definitely will need to clean and brighten her up a bit. Great work Steve!

Thanks Richard. I got lucky that I didn't have to paint anything, just a lot of cleaning, scrubbing, and grinding. I hope yours turns out as nice.
