Steve that is a beauity, have done much to it or did it come like this.
It was in really nice shape when I got it. I didn't have to do any painting on it, except for the lid badge.I cleaned and waxed the frame and control panels and it pretty much looks brand new. So it was mostly some disassembly and cleaning everything.Steve that is a beauity, have done much to it or did it come like this.
Right? And it's not so much because of what I did to it, I just cleaned it properly. These Genesis Gold grills are just really attractive, well made grills and I've really come to appreciate that lately. I've got my eye on a couple more of them because I think they are no brainer flip grills if you can get one for the right price.Man, that lid looks awesome!
Ha ha, it was just the work I should have done in the first place.Nice work Steve as always!
Beautiful jobYou only live once and I finally got tired of having all my really nice grills hiding in the garage so I rolled this Genesis Gold out to the patio. I rolled the trusty Genesis 1000 to my hiding spot on the side of the house. Now I have a really nice grill to cook on and room to pick up some more grills if I want.View attachment 113118View attachment 113119

Ha ha, that's where I keep the pool ladder in the winter too. The garage doesn't have any assembled grills at the moment eitherI see room for 3 more there…
Me too since he likes to bust my balls about having a keeper deep boxLooks good Steve. Curios of your opinion on the silver-gold vs an x000 cooking.
I'll let you know. I'm going to approach it the same way and see how it goes.Looks good Steve. Curios of your opinion on the silver-gold vs an x000 cooking.
I don't recall that.Me too since he likes to bust my balls about having a keeper deep box
You're welcome. Did I miss anything? Those were honestly the only differences I noticed. Oh, one more thing. The stainless steel lids on these grills weigh a ton compared to a Genesis 1000 lid. Thanks Steve!
