Rolf, i put only olive oil on the onion and Wicker's original I use only on pork and bird.
Wicker's makes a beef marinade, but i have not tried it.

Looking forward to MIlwaukee's State Fair..(Aug 1-11). Always stop at Millies for 1 or 2 Italian sauages. NOT CHEAP! last yr.$6.50 for one.
But who cares when your having a great day! Love the cream puffs toooooo.
Jim did you use any wood on those thighs? Wondering why skin was not crispy?
