Tossed some Tri tip strips in with a bit of mesquite (mccormicks seasoning) EVOO, bit of beer, white vinager and some fresh lime juice...that soaked all day and smelled wonderful!! Here smell...

Almost forgot my beans...I made these the other nite for our taco cook so I pulled them back out..added some cheese and Valentina's and mashed them up!! Love this little Dutch oven..picked it up a few weeks ago at a 1/2 price sale..it's gotten way more use than my full size lodges!

This was a total throw together but was super good! The meat was perfect..sorry I've been on a Mexican kick lately(thanks Tony!)

Have a great nite take care!

Your "throw together cook" looks delicious!!! You could of done the rice with regular tomatoes just throw them on the blender. Nice to hear I inspired the Mexican kick your on...

Thanks Tony!! I did think about the tomatoes but I was too envolved at that point..I was wishing I had some of Mr lampe's smoked tomatoes right about then..Humm weekend project I'm thinking!

Thats a good plate of food, you have there. I need to find me one of them dutch ovens! It amazes me what you can do with them. Now, Morgan C. I am always looking closely @ your pictures to see if I can pick up some more of your BBQ ing ways. LOL! :wsm:
