So while I was playing in Michigan my Cousin Curt took me to one of his favorite places, Jos Sanders Meats in Custer MI. Four generations of Butchers in business there catering to the butchering needs of the Farmers and people in the area.
They make what is called White Brats they are famous for among other things and I picked me up some.

So started out with some Brown Sugar Carrots, I make them with molasses and brown sugar along with some orange Zest, S&P

Just about done in the CI

A little Brown Dog to ease the process along

Brats on with some Penzey's Arizona Dreaming on the final turn to brown the sides a little

for being I Michigan, you eet some great looking brats!
I say that WITHOUT the op of sampling them....
also...
for being in Michigan, you consume some very different brews...
again, I say that WITHOUT sampling that/those specific brand(s)...

I believe your dinner plate is well balanced and actually PERFECT to "fit into my back pocket"! ;)

Excellent looking brats and carrots!!! We used to have a little German Market that made the best sausages, but the Man that owned it passed away and they closed up shop

Beautiful brats, carrots, and pics Bill!

we love candied carrots, and I like a tiny sprinkle of cayenne on mine.
