Meet my mom and grandma....

My mom and grandma spent 2 days at our home and we had a great time.

I started with some drinks....

My mom and grandma made tostadas de cueritos. (Pork rinds pickled in vinegar)

My mom made your standard pico de gallo ( tomato, onion, cilantro and jalapeño) and is mixed with lettuce.

My mom with her adult beverage.

My grandma refried the frijoles puercos we made.

The cueritos (pork rinds)are rinsed then mixed in with the pico de gallo salad. Tostadas get some mayonnaise and then some beans on top. Then the cueritos-salad goes on top with queso cotija and hot sauce.

Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks for stopping by Tony and Maribel, Mom and Grandma
Fixed :)

There is some serious good looking food there (and that 1st IPA looks mighty tasty too) Congrats on having your mom and grandma over, you're very fortunate, mine are gone and missed

You know what sounds good right about now....Some fried Tilapia :)

Fantastic post, Tony. Between yourself, Maribel, your mom, and your grandma, that's a whole lot o' cooking talent under one roof! Pickled pork rinds? Sounds like pure genius.

Great stuff Tony, always nice to have family helping out and boy all of you together must make some truly awesome food. Sure looks great!

Good family plus good brews equals some good eats! It's a shame that Tony didn't inherent any of the good looks that his family has.

Wow, I could sure go for a plate of that Tony. You are truly a generous guy. Thanks for sharing all you do, your cooks, your recipes, your music and peeks at your lovely family. You're a classy guy Tony.

Wow Tony - that is one fine spread. It is not hard to see where you got your culinary chops from my friend. Cooking withb family is always a great experience...

Regards,

John
