I've been putting birdseed out for the birds for I bet no less than 30 years. My favorite bird to come by is the Valley Quail which is funny because when I used to deer hunt, I hated the quail, they always ratted me out

The birds around here are feathered rats. I used to feed them but they paid me back by pooping all over my patio furniture, even though it was on the other side of the yard. I do have a bird bath that I keep filled because of the drought here and that attracts a lot of birds every day. But for whatever reason they don't go over by the patio now.
