Looking for finger type food ideas

Hello all,
I am having a group of about 12 close friends over on Saturday evening and we have decided to just do apps, finger type foods and or tapas type plates. This particular group has feasted on pulled pork, brisket, pork carnitas, wings, stuffed jalapeños and the recently discovered hasslebacks that I have prepared time and again. I am looking for something different to cook for them, albeit simple enough to grab and eat off a plate while standing, sitting and conversing. Of course the libations will be flowing. All ideas appreciated!

John

Mini pizzas are always a hit at my place.

This forum is fine for that question I think. If you want the actual recipe for the pizza dough then use the other forum.

I tried this from John Solak-Queso Fundido. Every time I make, it is always gone. I also roast a poblano pepper and add it to the Queso Fundido. What a wonderful app!

These are stupid easy but an amazing hit every time!
You'll need bacon, tater tots partially thawed, sliced jalapeno, toothpicks.
Take a package of bacon and cut it in half. Place a tater tot & jalapeno slice near the end of a piece of bacon. Wrap firmly and use a toothpick to skewer.
Place indirect until bacon is done to desired crispness. Watch as they evaporate from the serving tray in record time.

Pig candy!!! If your not familiar with it, its just cooked bacon with a mixture of brown sugar and cayenne pepper.

Teriyaki chicken skewers, pesto shrimp skewers, bruschetta, ceviche, grilled artichokes, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, a fatty, grilled Spam if your daring to name a few other ideas.

We did a party awhile back and added some spring rolls and pan-zit to the menu. You could do the same with mini egg rolls and use leftover pulled pork or beef or smoked chicken.
Another is mini tacos, taquitos or flatuas <SP.. Again use what ever leftover smoked meat that you have.
One that I like is to do sliders with marinated tenderloin or a rib-eye roast and add a small cup of au-jus to do a french dip sandwich.
And then the ultimate finger food is ribs cut into 1 to 2 bone pieces..:wsm:

spam musubi. basically anything with spam. a lot of finger food recipes out there using spam. not saying this to be funny either.
timothy's suggestions are also good.

Mini Brat Burritos: Smoke some brats; cut them in half; roll in a small flour tortilla with kraut and mustard. For the kraut, take a small bag of store-bought, shred a carrot into it, and a pinch (1/8 to 1/4 tsp) of cinnamon to smooth out the vinegar.

I have done many of the above suggestions with excellent results. How about chicken breast Satays? They are easy to do, and can be called "Chicken on a stick" - can be REALLY tasty. There are many good recipes out there. In fact, I will be doing one from a Steven Raichlen book, tonight.
