It has been a dismal 2nd half and tonight is going to be rough, Cain on the hill - but not to worry fellow Giants fans (yes, that's you; Robert T & Tony R and your beautiful wives)

This is a progressive thread. Fired up the Go Giants Mini SJ at 6:30, half hour before game time

OMG!!!!! Cain just hit a 3 run home run!!! I should have cooked these sausages two weeks ago

Your bride did an awesome job of the dinner love the pasta. Sausage looks great and it looks like your term did good.

Yes she did, and the game was a great game, however the sausages were awful. I overcooked them (forgot to put the defuser in the mini) the sausages were so bad, even the chickens wouldn't eat them and they eat everything

Maybe you were a radio sports announcer in another time not long ago?

Hey Chuck,

Just noticed that you had the 2 grates crossed to hold the sausages, any reason? I assume it is the one from the bottom grate location.

In that picture are 3 racks, the middle rack is out of view. The reason I had two racks on top is that sometimes I set my "mini" on top of a grate in the SJ. When I do this, it's to get extreme heat because when the mini is sitting on a rack, it allows a lot of air to get into the charcoal chamber. When I'm not doing an extreme heat cook, I put the rack on top of the top rack, so that I don't leave it out where it could get nasty (and rusty)

Good eye Sean. Congrat's to your Jays win last night. They have my blessing to beat any team, bar one.....GO GIANTS :)

I can say this: It's a love hate relationship with the Giants. Most the time I love them, but sometimes I hate them. Not been much love for them this 2nd half

You might like the Giants even less, those sausages were awful... I really messed this cook up. You know it's a bad cook when the chickens want no part of it
