My old camping grill. Haven’t seen this guy in maybe 10 years. We’re clearing out the place for the forthcoming sale of our current home as escrow on our retirement home closes next week. Big shout out to Brett for getting insurance on the new place, easier said than done when going rural in this state. So what do you cook on a grill that’s been shelved for a decade? That’s right…

Congratulations Chuck! That's very exciting! I still have 9 years to go. ENJOY you earned it

We installed 2/6 ceiling fans today. Hope to finish tomorrow and also hang a chandelier. In no time you’ll be moved in and making the place your own. I hope to get up to visit you at the new place and hit the lake.

I don’t know what retirement is or looks like. I still have a lot of miles ahead of me and the idea of not working scares me. I think I’d go crazy. Part of the blessing and the curse of being self employed.

Hopefully we can do a NorCal Niners game at my place before you ship out. If the dang TV prices come down I can buy the new one I’ve been eyeing.

Cheers to some BLTs. They’re always comforting and goooood.

And glad we were able to build a solution for you. This year has been super crazy and busy. Congratulations!!!

Rates are trending down. We just did a refi at 5.875 no points.

Retirement is the bestest sport EVER!
My wife got me the Corgi dogs as a retirement present (too awesome). Life pace has slowed immensely and I stay quite busy everyday.
I spent 49 years in leading edge technology manufacturing as a quality/process engineer and manager. I do miss what I did for a living but not working for corporate America.

That’s my blessing, I don’t work for, but with, corporate America. I work for my clients. That’s what makes me happy. Helping others. And cooking, of course.

You definitely win doing something you love.

I am very good at my job and do enjoy aspects of it, I don’t necessarily love it.

I’m trying to convince my kids to find their passion and make it their career. Do what you love and the money will follow type stuff.

With 30 years in I can retire at 55 or carry on for a few more.
I don’t know which I will choose.

Probably 7 more years and retire with no cuts in our life style.

God willing I stay healthy.

Hit me up for the NINER game. 😀

I can very much relate to all of this.
I have just over 30 years in as a Union Mason. Project manager mostly building brick high-rises in and around the Seattle area. I have 9 more year until I'm 55 and out. I busted my *** when I was younger to get as far ahead as possible so that now I can Coast to the finish line. I'm good at what I do but I don't enjoy it and don't want my daughter to be in that same position. I have definitely made the best of it and I will definitely enjoy my retirement very much. Staying healthy is a challenge and something that I don't take lightly. Staying healthy and in shape is very important to me for today and my future. I understand there are a lot of things that could happen that's out of my control but it's still important to me to put in the effort.

Congratulations Bruno 7 years will fly by!
I'm right behind you
