I found this while searching for how to make one. I think they even have free shipping on this as it is over $50. It even comes apart for storage in the WGA. The only issue is covering up the rotisserie slots to use as a riser for smoking. I did contact them and they are working on an updated model. https://lifespaceus.com/products/li...vcycHKwgSdJ5ijxLXjr3U0AQ-zWUEYn8aAuKGEALw_wcB

I am thinking about making one from 2 WGAs as shown in this video, but of course no rotisserie: I did find a gas WGA for cheap that I may try this with. Decisions, decisions? What do you think?

If you do it, I would sure love to see some pics and actual info on what you did and how it worked. Hell, those WGA are a dime a dozen

I think rolling a small pork roast or chicken on that would be very satisfying!
I’d get one if I really wanted it! I like the idea!!!
USB power seems like sourced from TEMU but, I could be mistaken. I don’t like everything being USB powered. Really that, I think, DC would be smarter but, I’ve got a couple of normal AC motors.

Will do - It is hard to find a deal here. I found an old gas one that I will hopefully get tomorrow if it doesn't fall through.

Joe I think that is very cool 😎.
I actually have a couple of those Go Anywhere Portables in my garage that I didn’t know what to do with.
I was about to give them away but I’m going to keep the best one now.
This would be great for when I start road tripping with the wife.
It doesn’t seem to be 110v either right?

I just ordered one today! I think it can run off a USB power Bank. First cook will be a corned beef from the freezer.

Got the riser / rotisserie today. Not really impressed as the quality seams good but the design needs heavy modifying to use as a riser. Ok for rotisserie only I guess.
I like that it easily comes apart and seams to be decent thickness and quality 4xx series stainless.
Seems like a nice USB / battery powered rotisserie motor.

Why would they cut out their logo instead of etching it? Now it needs to be sealed up.
Does not fit my grate on the inside or sit well on top.
Rivet nuts are convenient but do not allow a seal between metal sections.

Joe, that sucks. I was hoping that the Lifespace riser would be a great, lower-cost alternative to those risers offered in Germany (Zifa), Australia (Rub&Grub), or the UK (Flatpack).

The Lifespace riser is similar to the Flatpack in that it is primarily oriented toward rotisserie cooking.

I use the Zifa risers and they all require initial loose threading, placement, and adjustment to fit them correctly on the Go Anywhere. I think you may be able to do the same, hopefully?

For the Lifespace logo and roti rod gaps, use 3M high temp flue tape.

I did start modifying it and now the grate fits the top. You will have to drill 4 new holes on top of the riser so it spreads out further. Next I will be covering the other spaces and hopefully adding a lower rack mount for a water pan or diffuser. I really like the Que-Tensil's riser but could not justify the $85 + over $90 for shipping (no rotisserie included). So the $60 Life-Space one is a deal and I think with some time and effort could be almost as functional. I also just made a plate to go over one of the rotisserie slots

Looks good Joe! The one from Que-tensils really looks nice but shipping would be $106 for both the riser and slide grates! Shipping from Rub and Grub for the 200mm riser and slide grates is only $57 though so I may go that route but, like you, I do prefer the riser from Que-tensils because of the adjustable height for the grate.

I just looked up the R+G one. I agree that it could use a second lower level. Also it has no way of closing the rotisserie holes. In the end it will be twice as much with some of the same issues.

Edit: Also no rotisserie included.
