Lid-up Go Anywhere grilling

Tell us more about the set up. A lot going on there.
The charcoal basket, griddle, grill grates, and rotisserie insert are from Zifa Grills (https://zifagrills.com/en/collections/go-anywhere-kohle) out of Germany (they ship to the States).

The portable camping stove is the G2 Firebox Nano (https://fireboxstove.com/product/3-inch-folding-firebox-nano/).

The sauce and fry pan are from Stanley's Adventure Even-Heat Camp Pro cookset (https://www.stanley1913.com/products/adventure-even-heat-camp-pro-cook-set?variant=39681110081595).

I used the Tony & Maribel carne asada recipe https://virtualwebergasgrill.com/2015/07/carne-asada-by-tony-and-maribel/) for the steak with one variation - I substituted the seasoned salt for Sucklebusters Fajita Seasoning (also used on the jalapeños and onions).

I used Tony & Maribel's red rice recipe (https://tvwbb.com/threads/our-rice-recipe.47811/).

The refried beans in the bean pot were store bought.

I initially started the red rice on the Nano, but moved the rice over to the griddle to get it boiling (less than a minute). I moved the rice back over to the Nano for the rest of the simmer.

Total charcoal used was about two compact chimneys split between the right-side Go Anywhere, the charcoal basket on the left, and the Nano.

Excellent!!

Man, this is one of the coolest cooks ever. I keep coming back to look at this. Crazy efficient, crazy good. What a killer cook. That's one for the bucket-list for me 😀
😀
Thanks, Tim, and what a great compliment.

I'm working on some other cook variations that include my two gas Go Anywhere grills, as well.
