Lemongrass Chops

No plated shot...sorry. Basic Vietnamese thin-cut pork chops. Marinated about 5 hrs in a blend of good stuff. Did-up the lemongrass in my mortar and pestle with a bunch of other ingredients: garlic, shallot, fish sauce, white peppercorn and palm sugar.

On the grill for a couple minutes per side over direct. JD lump

Good to go. Served with a green salad and a cup of rice. Simple but good.

I have never seen a cook/recipe like this. This is one of the reasons I love this site. Thanks for adding the recipe, I have bookmarked this one, it is on the short list of cooks I want to try. Top notch!
 
Looks great! one of my favorite ways to pork. The local Vietnamese restaurant that I like has a dish where they take the grilled pork and coat it with panko and fry. So you end up with awesome bbq pork katsu style. You can request it in their Bahn Mi sandwiches, super tasty.
