Leg of Lamb with Garlic Tahini Sauce

Doris came home with a boneless leg lamb for the weekend. We didn't have much of plan, so it got the standard garlic, olive oil salt & pepper and lemon treatment. We didn't have any rosemary so we used thyme ...

It came in a bag - I de-bagged, cut the excess fat off and tried to flatten it out just a bit..

rubbed her down good, and then back into the fridge for about 8 hours....

The lawn is actually beginning to turn green! Spring is on the way (Though there is a chance of snow tonight!)

Got some new cast iron grates I've been breaking in. I like them so far-

And served - This was actually leftovers the next night, but you get the idea. We cut up a bunch or garlic, then into the food processor with tahini, some lemon juice, parsley and a little water for the sauce. They were pretty good!

Great looking lamb Peter! There isn't much better then lamb cooked over charcoal.....well
I can think off a couple things:cool:.

Looks great! Was so tempted by lamb with it on sale near Easter. Now I'm regretting not grabbing a leg...
