My daughter bought me a nearly 3 lb. lamb belly to make into bacon.
I'm starting the cure today, the guy she bought it from said to only let it cure for about 3 days due to the thinness and size. Has anyone here made lamb bacon?
Here it is still frozen, it's folded in half.
I spent a lot of time in middle east, never saw lamb bacon. They have some kind of beef bacon that looks nasty and i wouldnt try. On suggestion cards at hotel us americans always wrote "bacon". And biscuits.
Muslims dont drink alcohol, but no problem to be served alcohol in many places. But just try finding pork or bacon....
