Just Came Back (Inject or not to inject?)

I just came back after a long time away and rubbed the rust of the old smoker. Going to fire it up and smoke some Butts bone in about 7-8lbs each after trim. I was wondering what the feeling is on injecting the butts. Is it worth the extra step? I will be cooking low and slow 12-16 hrs. The temp here in FL will be mid 50's outside. If you do like injecting what do you like to inject with? Thanks
 
I for one inject my butts and briskets. I just recently did 2 butts and injected both. My wife and our guests raved about the taste. They were very flavorful and very moist. As for the injection, on these I used Harry Soo's injection and rub recommendations from his website. Taste was great and had just a bit of heat. Give it a try.
 
I've been injecting for quite some time using Harry Soo's recipe and technique ever since he "spoke" on here (be sure and see his PDF).

When I have the opportunity I want to take Harry's class. Could learn a lot and have some great food. It would be fun.
