Just a quick trip into the woods

Took a quick trip into the woods for a one night adventure. I wish I could say that we had the place to ourselves, but with all the campgrounds, trailheads, lakes (they did open several lakes last weekend) closed people are out where people have never been before.

Before this goes all Covid let me mention that Oregon, specifically the rural areas have and are doing well with handling the spread of covid. Even though there is a stay home order we are encouraged to get out and do stuff outside while social distancing. So with that said this is not a thread to bash and trash. Keep the politics out and enjoy the photos and stay safe.

And just to make sure I don't tick anyone off here's some food we cooked!

That's right Turkey bacon on the Blackstone! Sorry weber didn't make the trip.

Looks like a great escape, Case! I'm bummed that we will miss our scheduled camping trip later this month, since the campgrounds will still be closed. My Blackstone is my camping rig, too.......that thing is a workhorse!

We’re headed out for 4 days in a couple of weeks, haven’t been in the camper since the week of New Years....this will be our 1st trip with our 28” Blackstone, to say I’m exctied is a major understatement. Great pics, I’m curious as well how you like the chainsaw. Thanks for sharing,

I still use both my Coleman stoves. 1962 two burner and. 1972 single burner. Make lots of breakfasts on them!
