The weather today got up to about 14 for a high! But the wind was terrible, and its supposed to be worse tonight, so what a better way to warm up than with some spicy jerk chicken!
Seasoned with Walkerswood jerk seasoning, best stuff ever!

Chicken look's great & going to have to try & find some of that Walkerswood.
You look a little young to be drinking & playing with fire though lol.

It's a wet, thick type of marinade. I've only used it once for jerk chicken, but use it often in my wing mop. Walkerwood's recommends mixing one TB of coconut oil to two oz. of the seasoning, and rub on to marinade overnight. Good stuff, but if you use it heavily and let the marinade have time to do it's thing, it IS quite spicy and not for sissies.

Mike the chicken looks super! Wil have to look fer that seasoning...I'm a bourbon as well...been drinking the Kirkland...for the price it's real tasty!

That is great stuff for $20/L.

I was thinking the same thing. Wait until your mom sees this post, and you'll be in big trouble young man. Off to your room!

Very nice looking chicken!! It has been a long time since I have made some jerk chicken. I gonna have to go get me some jerk marinade

Hey Mike, Everything looks great. Been wanting to try that Walkers. Did you get it around here anywhere or order it online.

I usually get it from guy-am grocery in North Minneapolis but I've seen it at Byerlys and Kowalskis and also at a lot of Butcher shops, theres also a new store at the MOA that carries nothing but hotsauce, its on the 2nd floor.

is the "Mild" Walkerswood mild?

my wife likes the "jerk" seasoning you get at most restaurants but can't handle the heat in most of the over the counter jerk rubs I've found.

thx
