Instant charcoal variety collection (not mine), 60+ bags, 400 pounds, $300. What would you offer?

That’s an interesting collection.
Is there a story behind it?

We have several bags of Match Light charcoal and lighter fluid that people have brought over and left.
The only thing I found use for it was to start our burn pile.
Works great :).

I wouldn't give a plug nickel unless planning to resell it.
Interested as to why? :)

Hahahahaha, yeah, Match Light. I was thinking of making him an offer for 200 pounds and cherry pick what I want. No story but I'll ask . . .
Update, "leftover store stock, stored on a pallet".

I spend about 15 hours of time setting up, cooking, and cleaning the smoker and at least $50 on meat so I’m picky about the charcoal I use. I wouldn’t waste my time buying anything in that pile.

Oh, I understand that completely and agree.

I grilled 25 times in July. Most of my meals are inexpensive, $4.00-$8.00 for the wife and I. Charcoal is expensive, in my opinion. If I can get some cheap stuff that doesn't smoke like a burning tire and taste like kerosene, I'm fine with it.

I offered him 25 cents a pound to cherry pick 100 pounds. 50 cents a pound for the premium stuff.

Thanks to everyone for the comments! 👍
