I'm thankful that I'm able to easily be a part of this group whenever from wherever. If I had to rely on a computer to interact here I just simply would not be on here at all so I'm grateful that there are multiple avenues available to interact here. I can also appreciate that some methods work better than others for a different people with different situations.

I have been know to "sneak a peek" here from time to time on my phone. I think I may have even interacted once or twice. But, I view the phone as more as a "notification" device

What ever works best for you. I don't have an argument for or against any method of interaction on here. I can see how people would have different preferences for different reasons. Nice to have options.
 
I find that whatever we grew up using is what we prefer, for the most part. Those of us in our 60's grew up with a rotary wired phone and often continue to see a cell phone as just a phone. My son, at age 30, has been texting since middle school and uses his phone for many things I wouldn't think of. He uses AI regularly in his analytics related job, yet he still can't read a clock face or a map.

I was a member of the last high school physics class that got trained in the use of slide rules. Some things have gotten much easier!

I am 71 but I always embraced technology. I was on the internet with Prodigy if anyone can remember that talk about slow hit a return key take a nap then come back as the modems were so slow. My wife and I commuted quite a bit in opposite directions, so we were early cell phone users the kind that were on a stalk in your car before bag phones to me it was a safety thing if something happened on the highway, breakdowns or whatever. You talked fast because the cost of cell minutes was absurd in those days.

I use apps on my phone not this one as I am on a laptop during the day and I have a 31" screen cause my eyes ain't what they used to be. But I use bank apps, credit card apps, all my Therms in the house are Ecobee so if I go on vacation and forget to dial them back for ac or heat I can do it on their phone app, text messages but I only do email on my laptop very rarely on the phone and I do very little surfing on the phone also. My wife and daughters could not get thru a day without charging their phones cause they do everything just about on it, me I can easily go 2 days without charging my iphone.
 
A few months ago my att fiber went out this is where cause everything in my house is driven by the internet meaning my therms but not an issue with ecobee they retain the settings you just can't change anything but no big deal but no tv since I have google with apple tv, no laptop either obviously so at least with the phone you still have your email and other stuff. ATT took a day and 1/2 to get here which they did in the morning but those are not fiber guys.

Here is what's kind of funny turns out my box controls 3 other people in the neighborhood who all had no internet, they send 3 trucks who arrive in the morning around the same time. My guy opens the box and sees a critter must of eaten thru one of the fiber cables that by the way controlled the neighborhood, they again are not fiber guys so they got to call it in but my guy says don't worry because its so many houses they will get a fiber guy there before end of day. He shows up at 5pm everyone was told the same thing when they see the truck it was like the messiah showed up everyone out of their house what a job this guy has. By the way he makes $55 an hour plus overtime which he was on so I said to him you must make about $140k a year he tells me that is a bad year. :) He had another 4 stops to go they did not care about the overtime just wanted the customers back online figured he would be calling it a day around 11pm.

Forgot the ironic part he lived in my neighborhood.
 
I use my laptop 90% of the time for this forum. But I like to use my mobile when I go out to Whataburger for a soda. I'm better with computers then with a mobile phone. I just have more experience in that manner.
 
No critter gonna eat my cable as there isn't any :D T-Mobile is 5G and only cables involved are the antenna cable bringing signal inside from my Waveform MIMO 4 channel antenna and my inside network cables :D
