CLR or equivalent does a great job on hard water and rust stains in a toilet. You just pour it in the bowl and let it sit for a while before brushing the stains away. It's a pumice stone. I've used it to clean hard water stains in a toilet bowl. I wouldn't recommend it for porcelain. It's a scouring stick, after all, works by abrasion. But it says porcelain, so what do I know?
I found it strange that the box specifically said carbon buildup, and has a pic of a kettle on it. I have a badly faded lid at work. It's a pumice stone. I don't believe it is a scam. The seller has been on FB since 2020 and has other collectible items listed for sale. I think the problem comes down to that, while this is a very nice grill, it is a basic black and not really anything special beyond it being a time capsule. (Yes that is a lot.)Could be a scam listing as well as I too cannot imagine sitting on something that long trying to "hold out"
Do you have one and need a better one, or is it missing? I want to say I've seen those for sale new somewhere, ereplacementparts.com maybe?I’m also looking for this grate, if anyone has one they’d part with.
Yeah, definitely try to find one here first. I was just saying I thought that was still available to buy if you get desperate. One of my pickups was missing it. They’re kinda spendy new $50. Just hoping someone has one they’d want to sell & ship. I think it’s the same as a Genesis II
You can do a search feature on eBay that will alert you if one comes up for sale by part #.Now that I have the part number I’ll be checking eBay periodically.
Yes, I've since discovered CLR, it works wonders in the shower. I look for products containing sulfamic acid as the secret sauce.CLR or equivalent does a great job on hard water and rust stains in a toilet. You just pour it in the bowl and let it sit for a while before brushing the stains away.
