Well, I survived the night! I was working on emptying the fridge last night, too, so please forgive me. She scrubbed all of it, and did a really good job getting a couple of the really bad ones nice and clean! A couple of those knobs were really bad even after a 24 hour soak.

Started in on sanding some of the bad tables I have. The body shop in me is struggling with how not-flat the surface is. Found a deep crack in one, so that one will be my experimental piece. The white spirit tables turned out really nice. The individual photo is the dirtier table on the right.

Looks like she finished cleaning them and laid them out nicely to dry for you! Maybe she wants to be more involved in your grill rehabs!!!!

She said she does better at the cleaning than I do... and she is not wrong. And admittedly when I looked at them this morning, she did a great job on them!

She said shes willing to do the clean up on the smaller parts that aren't greasy. She even scrubbed the nylon washers. I have tossed around just trying to order a bag of black nylon washers, but every time I look my brain ends up hurting so I give up the search.

That is the stuff she has no desire to touch, and I am ok with that! About 15 minutes in the blasting cabinet and they are beautiful.

I think the blast profile of the sand is a better finish to paint, it roughs the surface up better.

I was thrilled about it to be honest. She even came down and was looking at the tables I had been cleaning and sanding. Two of them were black and looked horrible, she asked me if those were the ones on the table in the garage. When I said yes, she said, "oh, those things do clean up really well!" So maybe I am converting her? The grease/soot/carbon grosses her out... some of the grease trays have been absolutely disgusting... but all turned out to be solid and cleaned up great!
