Yeah, it makes you wonder why he bothered to repaint it to only ask $75 for it.That thing is worth 3X that much!
I thought it would be like a Genesis frame. Two top rails. Nope. And it’s longer and slightly deeper. Would have to cut the two bottom rails and fabricate a top rail. Once that’s done the back of the cabinet and door will no longer fit. Can I be done? Sure. We landed a man on the moon in ‘69. But not a project I was looking to start. What went wrong?
I saw that earlier- I like the design of those “1st Gen” stainless steel performers.Anyone near Delaware want a free stainless steel Performer?

Around here that’s about average to high price.Yeah, it makes you wonder why he bothered to repaint it to only ask $75 for it.
If I average out the price of the ones I'm currently watching it comes out to $114. There are some really bad ones that are only $20-30 that are also usually missing parts.Around here that’s about average to high price.
That is quite the collection. See if you can get the price down on the blue lid as I don't think he will sell that for $250. Then swap lids and re-sell it.Well a Blue Lid in the later Silver series grills finally popped up down on the Cape (2.5 hr ride for me) and now this popped up in Lowell about 35 minutes from me, but $250? c'mon man. I wonder if he would take 4 grills needing refurbishment for this one?
I'd love to replace the stainless lid on my Platinum C with a blue one.

Not quite $3500, in 2005 the Summit Platinum D6 that I was given sold for $2800. Canadian. But probably over $3500 in 2022 dollars. That would be tempting. Even if you had to spend $800- $1,000 on new parts, it's a $3500 grill new.
Same with Skylines and '05-'06 Genesis Platinums. They seem a bit to be unicorns until suddenly 2 or 3 pop up for sale.I’m always amazed at how cyclical colors are in my area for some reason. I went 2 years without a redhead passing through my hands. This year alone I’ve had 9. Only one each of green and blue this year, though. Ironically, both of those colors were quite prevalent when there were no redheads to be had. Go figure.
