I will just leave this here

ON the Broilmaster site they show them as 8mm. But I am also here to tell ya the OG cast iron ones they made were incredible. My friend's old OG BM from the the 70s has the original grates and they're still perfect

I have seen those before and always wondered how well the basic Broilmaster body adapted to charcoal. For me, it does not matter, as I have had the last fight with my wife about cooking with charcoal. No more charcoal grills for me as I have too many for cooking just for myself!

Do any of you have experience with Broilmaster Cast Stainless Steel grates?

When @Bruce and I went to Kansas City in May, one of the BBQ stores had a high-end Napoleon with similar cast stainless grates. They were very impressive and seem like the best of both worlds to me.

I've heard of the C series but never seen one in person. My guess is they cook great. That old single burner really deep box one looks incredible and IMO cast SS grates would be "da bomb" You have the weight of cast iron, the easy to care for stainless. Top notch all the way there

Here's a Broilermaster in my neck of the woods:
Id jump on that Val! I'm not saying that you should. I just like them for their American made build quality, how well they work and I personally like the way they look but most people don't.

I'm in Myrtle Beach, SC right now for work so I can't get to it until I get back next week. I wonder if I should put on a curb alert for another forum member in my area?
If you are interested I'd message him to either hold it for full price offer or pay him in advance to pick it up when you return.

That one looks really good if you are interested in grabbing one.
