Josh, I actually like many Broilmaster grills, but I just suspect that others find them "frump." Besides the "double/II" model, my personal favorite is to have the redwood slat shelves. You probably saw where my artist friend painted a Broilmaster logo on a homemade oak handle that I think really made that grill look much warmer.

@Bruce did a really old one with beautiful solid redwood shelves.
Another nice one is where the cast aluminum is dark green instead of black. I think that is what
@LMichaels' was probably like since it was a Ducks Unlimited special edition.
So, no, I don't disagree at all with your remarks. I do know that they are harder to sell, although one a long time ago was one of my most successful flips. I also agree that the ones with fold-down shelves use their footprint very effectively.
And, yes, they ARE really good steak cookers!
