You're jumping to the wrong conclusion for that gas line --- thats not a standard NG hose - it looks more like a propane hose tapping into the tank or house to my eyes. Looks like that grill was nicely restored --- anyone with that much attention wouldn't dork up the gas connections.

Yah, I am not sure either. But that guy has done some work on the grill. Those knobs are not Genesis knobs. I think maybe they are Summit knobs. I actually love that color of "RED". I call it crimson. It is right up there or maybe preferential to Blue for me. If I come across another good one, I probably won't put it on a rehab. It will go into my stash for something special.

Here's the black version of them I have also seen them in gray. I believe they came on older summit like Steve said and I think also at least some platinum Genesis fat frame grills from that same era.

I've seen several fat frames and seen these enough to be confident they came on Weber Genesis Platinum fat frame grills also.
