I will just leave this here

Here's someone in my own little town trying to sell an ugly Summit for $500. Besides being unrealistic about what this grill will sell for, his write-up is enough to drive many potential buyers away!

Brazil Summit.jpgBrazil Summit2.jpg

Weber 6 burner stainless steel grill with side griddle and slot for rotisserie. Grill is working but in the last windstorm one of the bottom doors blew off so it does need re-attached. Grill is well used but was well maintained and covered through the years this was purchased in 2016 or 2017. Retails new for $2,499, selling for $500oboIf listing is still here, the item is still available. I won’t hold it, cash in person pick up only. Scammers don’t bother reaching out I don’t wire funds or issues refunds or any of the other nonsense they try.

I just posted one for free in curb alert.

Well. It didn’t look like this when I messaged about it. But going to pick it up tomorrow. I’ve had tons of interest in the SSP I have listed. But my availability is screwing it up 😬 so I’ll go pick up another 🤦🏻‍♂️

I hope that one's free. Cody, out of curiosity are any of the frame compatible between a SSP and a Genesis 1000? They look so similar.

It was free originally. He said he’d hold till tomorrow then marked it pending. A few minutes later said he’s really sorry but his wife tried to move it on her own. And sent me that pic. I’ll see what I can do with it.

I think the only same part is the tank hanger.

Here's something else they don't make like they used to. This is my 1996 Toro Super Recycler lawnmower, 29 yrs. old this year. I just finished scraping the deck, sharpening the blade, new spark plug and an oil change. Electric start still works and it has a blade clutch so it stays running when you let go of the handle. Needless to say it still works perfectly. IMG_20250602_212721993.jpgIMG_20250602_212735617.jpg

Have you ever used the hose hookup in a mower deck? I know it’s not great for the blades and bearings. But dang it works well

I've been thinking about getting into the gas game for a bit and this popped up for free on marketplace.
Not sure exactly what I'm going to do with it yet. I'll get around to it someday. Going to browse the various threads on here for inspiration.

This is what I ended up with after reading around the forums for a bit. Thanks everyone who paved the way with your past projects.
The plan for the future is to get a red top to match the performer. Sending an email to weber to get a new cookbox and lid was extremely fast and easy.

I probably wouldn't use it anyway and just scrape the deck when I change or sharpen the blade like I always do. Besides, my goal is to never have to buy another lawnmower.
If you had to try scraping the deck on my Kubota you'd need 2 men and a boy. Weighs over 400lbs :D I can slip the drive shaft off, and slide it out. Beyond that, can't move it. Takes both me and my buddy to stand it up. When I change the blades I jack the machine up, put stands under it, then crawl under it like a car with my impact wrench. 3 31mm bolts to get the blades off. I think the blades weigh close to 5lbs each :D
