I will just leave this here

The descriptions almost make it worth it - "She’s hot, clean, and ready to make your neighbours jealous"

LOL... that person has a gift, they should be hired to write descriptions for others selling used grills.

I finally got my two Qs all cleaned up and I've run into a dilemma.... I am planning on keeping the 2200 (with the temp gauge and electronic starter) and selling the 200/2000 --- but I've found that I prefer the silver legged table more over the black legged one - it seems to be a bit more sturdy (which isn't saying all that much really). Now, you 'would think' that you would be able to just swap them over --- right? I just confirmed today that there is in fact a difference in the profile of the legs/foot of the two grills and that the table with the 200/2000 will NOT work with the 2200 without considerable irreversible/permanent/unsightly modifications. I was not expecting that....

If a lid swap is possible, it may be worth it to give up the igniter upgrade to have the more stable cart. One way or another, a tough compromise.
Yeah --- that thought was going thru my mind last night..... but I just can't do it - I like the battery igniter too much to give up. Plus the fact that the 'cook box' on the 2200 is in much better shape --- you can't see that I was able to cover up/spot paint a bunch of paint chips on the 200/2000 --- and the 2200 frame seems to be of higher quality/stiffness too. Plus the difference in two center grate supports vs one - I'd have to make do with one full grate vs two half grates --- Weberitis has many subtle levels....

Just a quick one. If I can’t sell it quick, it’ll get mothballed until winter. Then I have a plan for it!

Soaked in a concoction of bleach and dawn dish soap as recommended by everyone. I add some barkeepers friend as well.

This table was in decent enough shape, and my dad is only going to abuse it so I didn’t go very far on it. Just a clean, rust free frame, quick wire wheel on the cookbox. Hasty scrape of the inside of the lid. Good exterior cleaning of the lid. Blasted the original SS flavor bars and burner tubes, wire wheeled the tubes. A good used gas chamber that I blasted quick. Going to order him some grates now.

First slate I’ve seen on marketplace… my wife told me if I can move a few grills off the patio I could get a slate when we were looking at them at the hardware store this weekend… she didn’t say sell, just moved off the patio 🤔

In person, they look like a really nice unit. Pretty solid. Much nicer than the Blackstones I’ve used and own.

Went to pending while I was typing. Didn’t think it would last too long.

I've actually been giving thought today about swapping out the legs/frame between the two so that I can keep the stand that I like.... Again - you 'would think' they would be the same frame mounting points..... but I'm not certain. I'll be giving this more thought..... This way I can keep the things that I like and pass on the things I don't --- while I like the newer legs/frame, I am not beholden to them ---- thermometer in the lid - electronic igniter - sturdier stand ---- old school frame/legs >>>>> I think a plan is forming.
