I will just leave this here

Some lacquer thinner and a lot of rags would likely take all that spray paint off of anything porcelain coated, or SS. My guess is they’re trying to hide rust, and the wheel laying on the left side table isn’t a good look either.

If it was closer to me, I’d take a stab at it if I could get it for 25-40

Trying to figure out if this is a gray lid. Judging by the table fade it spent a lot of time in the sun, but doesn’t appear badly faded. So I’m thinking it’s a mica black/gray lid. Thoughts?

I have about 15 Genesis x000 project restoration grills lined up already. Mostly 1000s which are my favorite. At this point I'll probably only pick up more 1000s if they are very nice with a lid I want. Other than that I'd like to pick up some more juniors if I get the opportunity. I'm still considering a possible road trip through Oregon State for two or three juniors. I may try some smaller commercial SS grills but I'm not 100% sure yet. After going to pick one up yesterday that looked pretty good in pictures and when I got there in person it was ready for the dump. After looking into them more they don't seem to be as resilient and long-lasting as I would have guessed and that was my greatest appeal to the 304 SS commercial grills.

Also there are 3 Platinum 1000s price reasonably for sale in Arizona that I'm considering for a restoration there. My ideal end game Grill station will have a 1000 and a Junior as far as gassers
