I will just leave this here

So a co-worker knows that I do the grill thing. He asked if I would be willing to help him "freshen up" his grill. He is admittedly not very mechanically inclined, and it is a Charmglow. He said his grates are heavy duty but don't fit right, and that the middle igniter doesn't work. I have never heard of these, and thought I would ask the grill collective if you think it's worth sticking money into, or if he would be better suited purchasing a different one... what are your guys thoughts?

Thanks!
Please show pics!

I have actually cleaned one up for an old neighbor and flipped at least 2 from the trash. I may even have a couple of new burner tubes in my garage. Very cheesy grills but work. When I cleaned up my neighbors 2 year old grill I found holes in the grease tray and when I looked they were already discontinued so just wrapped it in aluminum foil. On the others the spot were the burners mount to the back is just painted sheet metal and was shot. I just took some tin snips and cut a small piece of sheet meatal I had laying around and screwed it in. Depending on care they could last a couple of years or maybe longer. Cleaning, care, and staying out of the weather will really help. If left to the elements forget it. They change models so often parts are a challenge but with measurements you can usually find something to work.

But as Samuel said pictures would help.

So I was at Lowe's today getting non Grill related items when out of the corner of my eye on the clearance rack something caught my eye. 7 spray cans of Rustoleum High Heat ultra and 2 pints cans. On sale and clearance. Bringing the price down to $1.44 per spray can of Rustoleum High Heat ultra and $5.72 for each pint.
I normally like to use Krylon high heat Max but for these prices yeah I'm buying it all. I'm guessing that Lowe's is discontinuing this product and I think they have a big contract with Krylon so maybe worth checking your local Lowe's clearance section if you're in the area or close by one of their stores.

What a beauty at $50. Looks like a Genesis 5. Even has the flame button and tray.
