I have fought the battle several time this year and lost twice. At that point, I just rip the broken handle off. Then I drill out the center of the bracket inside the frame which gives me room to get a sawsall blade in there and cut up the bracket. I call that a partial victory.

I have some used SS flavor bars laying around. Wanted to try an experiment this afternoon. Cleaned up pretty nice. Took about 5-10 minutes. Light wire wheel, a quick bead blast and finished with 220 grit sand paper.

Finally listed my first grill flip. Just did a decent cleaning on it. the grates turned out really nice so I’m hoping it sells to get some goodies for the full rehabs I’ve got in the works.
