It cooks the same as four I've picked up for free.To me it would have to be new in the box for that kind of money.
The twist-on ash pan is worth the $25 alone. It also has older style wheels that are worth something. And really the body doesn’t look bad for a metal bowl handle kettle. Vents look ok…I am glad it isn’t by me or I would have a hard time resisting for $25.Here is an OLD beat up red kettle for a lot less:

ThanksTwist-ons are very tough to find. $25 is very realistic.
There is a WKC member in Wisconsin who makes new ones for about $35 plus shipping.
