I will just leave this here

Lol, I wonder what percentage of the people polled who didn’t understand the question.

I would prefer all the food I consume to be “well done”.

A nice cut of beef tastes best rare in my opinion.

Well here is an excerpt from the quoted poll:

YouGov showed more than 1,200 US Adults labeled images of steak ranging from blue rare to well-done. Nearly one-fourth of Americans (24%) selected the well-done meat as their steak preference, while slightly fewer (23%) selected medium-rare.

Maybe well-done meat is more “photogenic”…

Perhaps the pollsters should be doing “blind taste tests” instead?

But it is an article by a company that sells meat thermometers. Seems legit…lol

I'm guessing a lag bolt into the wood is the axle?

Yah, at least it isn't sitting in a scrap pile waiting to be crushed and melted down right now. :)
The food cooked on that grill probably tastes the same as food cooked on one of the showpieces.

And also as a continuation of your observation, I wonder how much US scrap metal it took to build one of those Chinese aircraft carriers…

I do admire the ingenuity.

My parents were both born in the 20’s and tried to pass on their inherent frugality to us.

I didn’t quite understand it until I moved out on my own but I did catch on to what they were trying to teach us.

My mom is still that way in her 90’s.

That is all I have to say about that…

Well, it looks like the Chinesium grills are putting pressure on the Pellet grill lineup now. I am sure the Smokefires are much better quality, but it is tough to a sell grills for $1000 plus when you can get something similar for 1/3 the price.
