I will just leave this here

That’s stunning. The view might not be as good inside those painted cabinets🤔.
Its in LA they are probably fine but who knows. $2500 IMO dream on talk about a certain buyer probably the definition of that but It is LA lots of money out there. I agree with Ed its a beautiful view and a beautiful Grill, people with that kind of view ain't worry about the price.

Well that puts the Q1400 to shame. But 7000 watts is quite a bit of juice to be pulling. That would probably be banned in the state of California.
That's about twice what a 4 ton central A/C system draws, even 3 times what a high-efficiency system uses. That's nuts! BTW, when they issue a Flex Alert, it's typically for the hours of 4:00pm to 9:00pm, although one alert last week was for the hours between 3pm and 10pm. We were doing laundry at midnight.

You turn that baby on all the lights in the neighborhood go dim. Your neighbors gotta put on their sunglasses and sunscreen.

What will you do in 13 years when nearly everyone will be needing to plug in their cars after work?
The Gubner was on the news saying EVs only account for 0.4% of the load today, and are only projected to be 4% of the load in 2035 when ICE-powered cars will be banned. YET...they were still asking people not to charge their EVs during a Flex Alert.

We will all be working from home by that time...right?

I had better be retired by 2035

I have never seen anything like that grill before. You would need your own power plant. Seems like an answer to a question very few would ever ask!

I was watching a "teardown" on the F150 Lightning yesterday...it's not like anything you've ever seen. Not many people will have the training to repair them for some time to come. The other point made was it sold for $72k and is predicted to go up in value by $20k - $30k in a year. The times they are a-changin'.

Here is a video from 2006 of a guy cooking on one. He get flames. Funny how I do not see the cord. I wonder if he is really running electric or he snuck in a gas line;-)

You can definitely get grease fires in electric grills. I had a Q140 going pretty good one time. I just wonder what kind of heater element protection they use.

Interesting grill. I notice those cooking grates are essentiall one piece of metal that is cut and bent to form a complete grill grate. No welding needed.
