On of my rescues had one of these. I put it on my 1000 and thought it would shield some of the heat from the crossover tube when doing roti chicken, but I have not spun a chicken since last year. Maybe this weekend I'll spin one or two if I can find one at a decent price.

Wow! Talk about kettle inflation...The fact that it is blue and working and also looks to be in decent shape would make it an item for a serious Weber fan. If it were close to me, I suppose I would be sorely tempted

These things apparently weren't very good cookers and were a flop in the marketplace. I think @LMichaels had the opportunity to actually use one years ago. So, the only reason to buy it would probably NOT be for "everyday use."
