Home Alone - Day 4

Today was not a nice day in Southern California....

Sorry Morgan no beer today either.

Today's dinner was country style ribs. Seasoned with webers smokey mesquite. I put a few pieces of hickory in the back of the grill but I didn't detect any significant smoke taste.

After 45 min I wrapped with BBQ sauce

Plated with BBQ beans.

For a dessert I sliced some cucumber and added lemon and chili powder.

My kids are with me so but I feel guilty leaving them with my mother in order for me to go out... I prefer to hang out with them.

This great bonding time with your kids. When my boys were teen agers, we did a cross country bicycle trip (self contained carrying all of our camping gear including tent, stove, etc. The kids STILL talk about it (the oldest is in his early fifties, now!) The kids will remember "home alone". I'll bet you have them helping out with the cooks, huh?
