Here is my 2025 grill that i will be restoring, Genesis 1

But to get to the 600 mark, all 4 burners need to be on high as the monster grill of course is only 3 burners.
Steve, if you saw the height of my burner flames on the Snap On grill, you would think she would see 600 in a few minutes but it doesn't 🤔
I'm getting plenty of flame.

I wouldn't consider getting to 600 faster the only gauge of a grill's effectiveness, but I also think that a lot of us here - self included - tend to discount the new Webers because they aren't built to last two decades like our old Gennys - or forever like your SnapOn Beast! When in good condition and working right, I think you are showing that the newer grills with the extra burner are very capable cookers.

Temps and the speed they're reached goes deeper than just raw BTU. If you look at Weber gas grills through the years (not the kettle), but Genesis grills starting with first ones. Always were able to reach very high temps (maybe not record setting but every bit as good as the competition) without resorting to astronomical BTU numbers.
This is due to every piece of the design language. Shape of the firebox, how the lid is designed, air flow, and so on. Just look at something like a cheaper grill that touts crazy levels of BTUs per sq in. yet does not get to any higher temps than an average Genesis. But, to put so many BTU in them look at something as simple as how they vent. And the airflow designs. They have to use such huge vents a low flying aircraft could ignite.
So you get bragging rights, but not much else. In the end you can't cook any better.
And even though for various reasons I'm not a fan of the newer versions the design language effectiveness has not changed.

I just finished a Genesis 1000 today, it has a lid that is 3/4 of a inch shorter than all the other Webers I've rehabed.
I did 2 burn ins1000009559.jpg with it, the first one was everything cold, got to 550 plus1000009557.jpg degrees in less than 5 minutes, I was impressed.

Mark, that's a really good looking grill you did there, I'm impressed. What paint did you use on the cook box? It looks a lot lighter than the frame, but it's a nice paint job.

Thank you Steve, I get all my paint at Menards.
I also only use Rustoleum, it is High Heat flat black, not Ultra.
It goes on beautiful, I wish it came in a satin instead of flat.

I thought that's what you used and the light was playing tricks on me. I used the same paint last year on my Jack Daniels grill and was pretty happy with the results. The Ultra is obviously shinier but I wanted to try something different. You should post some more close up pictures of that one, from a distance it looks really nice and you should proudly show it off.

The guys coming from Minnesota and getting it this weekend.
It's just a flipper and not my grill.
This is my forth grill this year.
Just because you're selling it doesn't mean you shouldn't be proud of your work. I take the same approach to a grill whether I sell it or keep it because I never know what the outcome is going to be. I wish I had the time to do that many though.
