Hello everybody,
I've made a couple post already but wanted say hi and introduce myself. I got my first Weber kettle master touch about six months ago and really wish I had gotten a kettle years sooner. To be honest I never did like the looks of them but wow are they efficient. Before then all I had was a small charcoal grill that all I would do was burgers and hotdogs and the occasional steak. I consider myself a rookie when it comes to grilling and smoking but I learn quick and look forward to getting lots of ideas from here.

Hi Brian - welcome to the forum. Lots of guys here with kettle cooking experience, feel free to ask as many questions as you like.

Brian,
Welcome. I am an avid home cook, but did not get into charcoal smoking/grilling until 2018 and did not get my first kettle until 2020. Man do I wish I made the move sooner. I have learned so much here and I can't wait until you get to the point where you are teaching us as well.

Welcome Brian.

There are plenty of gizmologists, gadgeteers & briqsters here who will help you on your journey.

Hi Brian

WELCOME!!!!!!

Clicked on your home town on your avatar and saw some interesting pictures. The last shot looks like a room with pictures of Elvis Presly on the wall. Cool.

You will love it here.

Welcome Brian. Lots of good info here. Kick your shoes off and have fun reading.

If you don't yet have a good instant read thermometer, then that's my suggestion as your next gadget.

And we love pics.

Yeah you have really taken off! You’re cooks are awesome.
My mom didn’t grill at all when I was a kid, I just have always wanted to be outside cooking ever since I got my first place.

Thanks. I have an Inkbird That I bought a few months back. It's considerably faster than the needle gage one I started out with haha. I also have a digital thermometer with a set of 4 probes.
