Hanger Steak Tacos

Did some tacos last night. I don't think I've ever cooked a hanger steak previously? It's not a cut that our local stores carries, at least not regularly. I had ordered some stuff from SRF, so I gave it a shot...

Friday night I mixed up stuff for a marinade and let it soak overnight....

had to make some salsa, so I roasted up some veggies on the gasser...

chopped them up, and came up with this...

threw them on:

just about there!

...and done!

served with the first squash of the year and some rice...

one more, just because......pretty tasty!

Great looking tacos. And a nice selection of beverages. Was the Topo Chico on it's own, or did you make Ranch Water with it?

Thanks Jim - yeah, that's just a lonely Topo Chico.... no ranch waters last night... I'm not sure why not? - maybe the stars were not aligned in that direction for some reason....

Legit good! That’s one of the best cuts of beef IMO.
