I wasn't going to photo and post this, since it's nothing special, but what the heck. Here's the fixins. Half pound burger patties with a pat of butter in the middle, seasoned with Montreal steak seasoning; bacon; and we found one each jalapeño and Anaheim in the herb garden.
Start the bacon indirect with vents closed down to keep temp down.
The onions join in.
Oh my, we have a mess of bacon!
So it's time for the burgers to hit the heat.
Onions are happy; but I would be too, sitting on bacon!
Let's grill the peppers for another layer of flavor.
Burgers assembled and ready to eat! Brian and I like cheddar, but Lauren and Sean don't. I've never understood that ....
