Hi All, greetings from Minnesota. Happy to be part of this community today. I'm a lifelong griller, and usually am able to get some grilling in 12 months of the year even up here in MN. Can be tough when sub-zero though!
I have owned a copper colored Weber Genesis E310 since 2012, interestingly back then it was made similar to today's E-315 with doors. I've used it a lot, but taking good care it still looks great and functions perfectly.
Just purchased a Smokey Mountain 18.5". After wanting to get serious about smoking for years, I finally broke down and made the leap. I have smoked/cooked chicken and baby back ribs so far. Both turned out awesome, I'm in love with this thing. I'm a relative newby to smoking, but thinking of jumping in with both feet and smoking a brisket for Father's Day. I've already gotten some great tips from this forum, wish me luck.
Happy early Father's Day to all the Dad's out there.
