We're heading back up north this afternoon. Had a great time in the bay area. Got to see my grandson's little league game yesterday. Did some Roadside Chicken for my cook. Found some great thighs up at the local deli. They were normal size, not those steroid jobs that seem so prevalent these days. I had stumbled on a cauliflower recipe a while back that I wanted to try. Rounded it out with the last two of the twice baked potatoes I did last night. I left them in the plated picture. A little redundant but thought it was better than a gaping hole. Here goes.
Used a small head of cauliflower, coated with butter, seasoned salt and shredded parmesan cheese. Wrapped tightly in a couple layers of foil.

Marinated the chicken for about eight hours. Ready for grill. Made a fresh batch of the marinade for basting.

Cauliflower on the grill over direct, medium heat.

Chicken on the grill over direct high heat, turning once. Moved to indirect after about 10 minutes.

The neighbors eighteen year old cat loves to come over and watch me cook and keep warm near the grill.

Chicken is done on grill.

Chicken plated, waiting on the cauliflower for a minute or two.

Cauliflower is done and piping hot.

Dinner is plated. Again, sorry about the twice baked second look.
