Bruce are you saying if I were getting stainless steel cross members, I would be introducing carbon steel? The OEM bottom I am merely using as a pattern after drilling the door pin holes is complete, I will ditch that.

Yes, in part. But it also has a 13 flavo bar deep box in it, which is not stock for those frames. That is primarily what makes it a "Frankengrill" in my opinion anyway.

Has anyone got a quote from RCP for custom Stainless Z metal? He told me he would give me a quote if I gave him measurements but I haven't yet. Just curious if anyone else knows his pricing on them.
