Genesis Platinum B/C

The blue platinum is my go-to. I wanted another platinum and could not find one, so I built the silver b. I wanted a silver A and could not find one so I acquired the q200. Then I found my silver A and my second platinum. Now that I have what I want I want concentrate on completing them.

What are you going to do to them?
I need to clean and repaint the some of the lid end caps and cook boxes.
I need to clean SS frames.
I need to clean and paint some for the wire bottom racks.
I have not decided if I want to wire wheel or sandblast the cook boxes yet. $$ is a factor.
I will also need burners, flavor bars and drip trays.
I will not come anywhere near pristine to rehab jobs you, Cody, Bruce and Josh do, but thats okay.
I hope to get pavers and mats all around.
I hope to keep around 4 of them.

Sandblasting near me is very expensive so I've only done it once. If all the paint is still present on a cook box or even the end caps, I just scrub them down really well and repaint them. It saves a lot of work and they look fantastic. The parts can add up on a restoration so I (and others obviously) will occasionally restore and sell one in order to fund other projects with the profits. I also recommend going start to finish on just one grill so you don't get sidetracked.

Samuel, I would go full-bore on one. Since you have other cooking options to take your time and do one, extensively and detailed.

That’s just me though. I get cost factor, but if you take it slow, $25 here. $20 there. I think over time you could work thru a full out rehab and have one to be super proud of.
