Genesis Gold Part 2

Hmmmm, I was wrong. What Josh posted shows the snap in rack was 2000 as well. Maybe just on the Golds.

By end cap, I was referring to the aluminum lid end caps.

I'm definitely interested to see you work your way through one that's not as easy as the last one!

And you scored a propane tank nice!
That last one was a layup for sure, few and far between. This one is closer to what I'm used to unfortunately. The good news is that I really am planning on using this one so my expectations aren't as high on the outcome this time.

I think both are kind of nice in their own way whether they need a lot of attention or not as much

The great thing about the ones that are really rough and need everything is the transformation to sit back and look at it in the very end and be proud of what you've accomplished
Absolutely, this one will be no different and there's going to be an added bonus. Any of the new parts I have to buy will go on the other Genesis Gold which will make that one all the better.

I didn't have to do this on the other grill since it was so much cleaner. I assume this is the proper way to take these tables apart for a deep cleaning?IMG_20250408_200147376.jpg

So yeah, this is going to take a while and I'm going to need some good weather to do it. I've got a pretty good idea where I'm at now. Both end caps are stuck in the frame on one side. Nice.IMG_20250408_210545221.jpg

And this is a new one on me. One of the nuts is spinning the bolt that holds the tank scale on. I hope there's a way to get it apart without it being off the grill or I don't know what I'm going to do there.IMG_20250408_210627994.jpg
