Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife and dog found dead in their New Mexico home

Santa Fe County Sheriff’s deputies found Hackman, his wife Betsy Arakawa and a dog dead when they preformed a welfare check, a spokesperson said.

Even I thought I was dead, then I found out I was just in Nebraska.

Another one of the greats is gone.

Have not heard yet but, that might be very possible, since Gene, his wife and dog were all found lifeless. How sad.

I have always liked Gene Hackman.
Something about him always put a smile on my face.

I hope that his last days were pleasant for him.
At 95 years old I’d say he had a great run and I’m going to leave it at that.

Truly sad, one of the best ever imho. Sounds more and more like CO poisoning . As others have said another great one gone and will be missed. Certainly had a great run. RIP

Last report I read would seem to indicate something else. She was found in a bathroom with a space heater, a spilled bottle of prescription meds and partially decomposed/mummified feet. It was being treated as being more suspicious.
