Hi gang - first off, I'm sorry I've been quieter than usual: tryin' to get my timing down.
Cindy boiled a chicken earlier this week, we had a few pieces left over... I made Kimchi a couple of weeks ago, it's more than ready to go ... What to do, oh what to do? How about Kimchi quesadillas and chicken/Kimchi tacos?? Sounds good to me, real gu-u-ud! The major players, clockwise from top center: fast slaw (cabbage, pepper, ranch and Pendleton BBQ sauce), Kimchi and shredded chicken, onion and Jalapeno, obvious, obvious and more Kimchi!

Onion/Jalapeno in the skillet, quesadilla on...

Kimchi/chicken in the skillet, quesadilla closed

nice grill marks, eh?

and your plate

pay no attention to the re-appearing horseradish 'club'! How did it taste? Well, I really like Kimchi, so it tasted great! Thanks for topping by, and can you guess the secret ingredient in tomorrow's post?

Seeya!

HoleyMoley Brian!
Your 1st photo told me this was gonna be a GREAT show! And WHAT A SHOW!
How I missed your Kimchi post, I'll never understand....
Geesuss! This ▼ looks OUTSTANDING!

Great looking cook and shows how creative you are Brian! I also like kimchi, but never thought about making quesadillas with that. Delicious!

Not as romantic as the last plate ...:D
but again it looks very good;). Your Kimchi - unknown to me (sorry), but very interesting. I realy live somewhere else:(.

I haven't had Zeli, so I'm not sure... Kimchi is fermented... maybe like a peppery, ginger'y sauerkraut ?

Thats funny , I haven't had kimchi , but my wife's (polish branch) cousins make a slow cooker cabbage dish they call Zeli....it's got a vinegary peppery taste , but it's got bacon chunks in it too , so maybe it's different. I don't think it's fermented as such. It goes good with kielbasa , I know that!
